2023Chenin Blanc KAMA
- Tasting notesGrapes were handpicked early in the morning from our 28-year-old dryland Chenin Blanc bush vines, rooted in decomposed granite soils in the Swartland and Franschhoek regions. These deep soils contribute to vibrant acidity and a naturally low pH.
The result is a rich, balanced wine with mouth-filling flavours of baked apple, almond paste, and honey. The palate is intriguingly spicy, with a soft, rounded texture and a clean, zesty thread of lemon—full of elegance.
Fermentation and ageing take place in concrete eggs to preserve purity and enhance complexity. - AnalysisCultivar: Chenin Blanc

2022Syrah Cuvee Ameena
- Tasting notesAlluring dark fruit layered with white pepper defines this elegant Syrah. It shows the variety’s signature svelte, silky texture and a rich, well-suited depth. Naturally fermented in 4,500-litre foudres and aged in second- and third-fill French oak, the wine allows the purity of Elgin fruit to shine through.
Elegant and balanced, it is inherently fresh with a lingering finish. Fine-boned and discreet, with firm tannins from 100% whole-bunch fermentation, this cool-climate Syrah—grown at 400m above sea level—offers a restrained, savoury nod to the Northern Rhône.
Cuvée Ameena, named after the winemaker’s daughter, is naturally fermented in open tanks with minimal sulphur. It is matured for 12 months in 225-litre French oak barrels, fined with egg whites, and left unfiltered. A natural sediment may form and decanting is recommended. - AnalysisCultivar: Syrah
