Grapes were handpicked early in the morning from our 28-year-old dry land Chenin Blanc bush vines, rooted in decomposed deep granite soils in the Swartland. It contributes to vibrant acidity and a naturally low pH.
The result is a rich, balanced wine with mouth-filling flavours of baked apple, almond paste, and honey. The palate is intriguingly spicy, with a soft, rounded texture and a clean, zesty thread of lemon—full of elegance.
Fermentation and ageing take place in concrete eggs on clean lees for 10 months to preserve purity and enhance complexity.
